Latino Folk Dance Club

On Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30, the Latino Folk Dance Club meets in the music room at Emma.  This club is open to students in all grades at Emma; however, because all instruction is in Spanish, participants need to have a working knowledge of Spanish.  The classes are sponsored by Nuestro Centro (Our Center) and are taught by Maria Lucia Hernandez and her brother Jesus Hinojosa from Grupo Sin Fronteras (Group Without Borders).  The instructors are assisted by parent volunteers.  Students interested in joining and parents interested in volunteering should contact Ms. Lovejoy.
