The Buncombe County Schools Foundation is proud to announce the winner of this year’s Paulo Furches Memorial Scholarship Raffle. Congratulations to Alexandra Houle of A.C. Reynolds High School, who was recently awarded a Dell technology bundle valued at $5,000.
The prize was made possible through the generous support of members of the BCS Technology Department, alongside Dell, whose donations helped bring this opportunity to life. Alexandra recently stopped by to pick up her bundle.

Paulo Furches served Buncombe County Schools in the Technology Services Department for more than 25 years. Known for his dedication, kindness, and commitment to students and staff, Paulo made a lasting impact on BCS. This scholarship and raffle serve as a meaningful way to celebrate his life and continue his positive influence.
