Pro Mnt Biker showing tricks to kids

Cheers and wide-eyed excitement filled the bus lot at Emma Elementary last week as first and second grade students discovered a row of shiny new bicycles waiting just for them. Each student received a bike and helmet to take home, thanks to a generous donation from Can’dAid.

Can’dAid, a nonprofit organization that helps communities lead healthy, active, and creative lifestyles, partnered with frozen greek yogurt brand Yasso and professional mountain biker Jeff Lenosky to create an unforgettable experience for the students.

Lenosky led a motivational talk about setting goals, staying determined, and chasing dreams. He also demonstrated proper helmet fitting and shared bike safety tips before wowing the crowd with an impressive stunt show, including jumping over a few brave teachers.

We are so thrilled to be able to collaborate with Can’dAid and Yasso to make this happen for our students,” said Emma Elementary Principal Carla Shipman. “It was such a great moment to see how overjoyed and excited the students were to receive this special gift. We appreciate their generosity so much!”
