As we approach our upcoming testing days, we want to share important information regarding student attendance during this time.
Only students who are scheduled to take an End-of-Course (EOC) exam or a Career and Technical Education (CTE) exam are required to be on campus during testing week, June 5-9th, 2026.
If you student is present for an exam but would like to leave after they have fulfilled their testing obligations, please complete the Permission to Leave Form for student permission to leave campus early.
If a student does not meet the state proficiency requirement on the initial EOC, Buncombe
County Schools will offer a retest opportunity within the same testing window. Retesting allows students another chance to demonstrate their understanding and may improve both their proficiency level and final course grade. If you would like your student the opportunity to retest, please complete the EOC Consent to Retest form.
A reminder that students are required to return their device before they leave campus for the summer. Failure to do so will result in a device replacement fee until the school-issued device has been returned to campus.
Please review the schedule below for more information.
If you have any questions please contact the school .
